The canton is made out of a solid piece of wood with .40 caliber shell casings for the stars and is attached using two magnets. The field is made up of thirteen separate pieces of wood with a 45 degree chamfer on each side for added texture and visual aesthetics. The entire flag is surrounded by a wooden frame. The hidden compartment measures 9 1/2 inches high by 11 inches wide by 2 1/4 inches deep and has a peg board backing. This allows for customization of the pegs location to accommodate your firearm or anything you wish to put inside. The entire flag measures 21 inches high, 29.5 inches wide and 4 inches deep. Each piece is stained by hand and then a clear coat is applied for lasting protection.
